On Mother’s Day 9 year old Stella and her best buddy Jenna planned breakfast in bed for Momma. Pancakes…yummy pancakes and some bacon strips too. Fresh fruit and a pretty flower from the garden would be perfect. Well the plans looked all good on paper, but oh no getting it all together is such a big deal.
Thankfully Daddy is the top pancake maker in the house, and always ready to come to the rescue. Stella, Jenna and her daddy worked quiet as mice in the kitchen and finally it was time to carry the tray into sleeping Momma.
Coming through the doorway Momma was sitting up arms wide open with hugs and filled with grateful smiles. “My nose told me something special was happening” she said as she hugged and kissed her little girl.
