Maplelea Shipping Policy

At Maplelea, we work hard to deliver your order safely, quickly, and at a fair cost. Below are our full shipping guidelines so you know exactly how shipping is calculated and how your order will be handled.


Pickup

Orders placed for local pickup are intended for in-person collection only. Pickup orders are processed individually and are not eligible to be held, combined, or shipped at a later date.

  • Pickups are available between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Location: 619 Steven Court, Unit #6, Newmarket, Ontario, L3Y 6Z3.

Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

Canada

  • $0.00 – $129.99 CAD — $14.00 CAD flat rate. Applies to all standard product types.
  • $130.00 – $199.99 CAD — $20.00 CAD flat rate. Applies to all standard product types.
  • $200.00 CAD and above — Free shipping. Applies to standard products only.
  • Oversized items (all order values) — $20.00 CAD. Oversized items are excluded from free shipping at any order value.

United States

  • $0.00 - $109.99 USD — $16.00 USD standard rate. Duties paid at checkout (DDP).
  • $110.00 – $249.99 USD — $22.00 USD standard rate. 
  • $250.00 USD and above — Free shipping.
  • Oversized items (all order values) — $35.00 USD. Oversized items are excluded from free shipping at any order value.

Duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout (DDP — Delivered Duty Paid) for all US orders. This prevents extra carrier fees or "COD" charges on delivery. Duties are determined by carriers and US Customs and are non-refundable.

International (UK, France, Germany, Netherlands)

  • Outfits / accessories — up to 500g — $65.00 CAD.
  • Multiple outfits — 500g to 2kg — $85.00 CAD.
  • Doll order — 2kg to 4kg — $110.00–$115.00 CAD.
  • Oversized items (all order values) — $120.00 CAD.

Free shipping is not available on any international order at any order value. No exceptions.

All applicable import duties, taxes, and customs charges at the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are outside of our control. We recommend checking with your local customs office if you have any questions about what may apply to your order upon arrival.

Commercial & Large Orders

Free shipping applies to standard parcel orders within Canada and the U.S. Large, bulk, or commercial orders that require freight shipping are excluded from free shipping offers. These orders will be reviewed, and a shipping quote will be provided prior to dispatch. Additional freight charges may apply.


Shipping Schedule

Canada

Orders ship throughout the week from our Ontario warehouse.

United States

US orders ship once per week on Wednesdays.
This allows us to consolidate shipments and ensure duties are fully paid in advance, preventing surprise charges at the door.


Pre-Orders

When your order contains one or more pre-order items, your order will be held and shipped together in one package once the pre-order item(s) arrive.

  • This ensures you receive free or subsidized shipping benefits based on your full order.
  • If you prefer to receive in-stock items earlier, they can be shipped separately for an additional shipping fee.

Order Combining & Holds

Please note that we are no longer able to hold or combine multiple orders into a single shipment. Each order placed will be shipped independently. We appreciate your understanding as this allows us to process and dispatch your orders as quickly as possible.

Please note that orders placed through both Maplelea and Ruby Red at the same time may be combined where operationally possible.


Delivery Responsibility & Lost Packages

Once a package shows "Delivered" by the carrier to the address provided at checkout, Maplelea is no longer able to file claims or issue refunds, as the shipment is considered completed.

If your package is marked as delivered but cannot be found:

  • Check with household members, neighbours, or your building mailroom.
  • Look around porches, garage doors, back doors, or parcel lockers.
  • Contact your local post office with your tracking number for delivery details.

We are always happy to help guide you, but please note that carriers do not accept claims on delivered packages.


Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Orders are shipped to the exact address entered at checkout.
Maplelea is not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated addresses provided by the customer.

If an order is returned to us due to an addressing issue:

  • We can re-ship the package for a subsidized fee, or
  • Refund the merchandise (shipping fees are non-refundable).

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders begin processing quickly — especially during peak seasons — so changes cannot always be made once submitted.
We are currently improving our website to allow customers to make their own order edits before fulfilment begins.
