The detail on this costume is astounding, from the embroidery on her traditional white blouse and underskirt to the rick-rack and trim on her colourful apron with satin sash belt. The full circle flower wreath contains red poppies, yellow and white daisies, blue cornflowers, greenery and a cascading selection of satin ribbons that flow behind her as she dances. This set also includes traditional red boots and of course journal pages about, what else - Ukrainian dancing!

I’m 27 now but as a girl I always wished there was a Ukrainian doll . At age 10 I learned that Brianne had her traditional sheepskin coat and my whole family was excited to see our heritage embraced. Two years ago I got back into doll collecting at age 25 and was so shocked that this costume was available ! My dream was to always have one for my dolls, especially one that is professionally made. I am saving up to get Brianne , finally a doll of my heritage, and whenever people that visit us that are also Ukrainian it’s one of the first things I show . Absolutely lovely all around! And it fits American Girl dolls too, just the top of the boots show a little of the velcro though it's not really visible because of where the velcro is. So beautiful, you won't regret getting this outfit!
Such a gorgeous outfit, my daughter was so excited to be able to dress up her doll in a Ukrainian dance costume just like her own.
