Editing Orders

You can now edit your order through the customer portal after purchase, as long as your order has not yet entered fulfilment.

In the customer portal, you can:

  • Update your shipping address
  • Add or remove items
  • Change sizes or colours

How do I access the customer portal?

After placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to your customer portal. Simply click the link to view your order and make changes.
You can also log into your Maplelea account and access your order from there.

Can I cancel my order in the customer portal?

Once fulfilment starts, changes can no longer be made. At that point, the order is being packed and prepared for shipping. At this time, the customer portal allows changes to items and addresses, but full order cancellations must be handled by our team. Please contact us if you need to cancel. When you make changes in the customer portal, your order will update automatically and you'll receive an updated confirmation email.

Orders are prepared to ship the next business day.

Shipping Methods

Maplelea uses a variety of shipping methods. Ones that are appropriate for your location will be shown at checkout.

Canada: We offer flat rate shipping starting at $14.00 CAD, with free shipping on orders $200.00 CAD and over. United States: Flat rate shipping starting at $16.00 USD, with free shipping on orders $250.00 USD and over. We also offer an international flat rate option, details below.

Fee for refused and returned orders: If a shipment is refused and returned to Maplelea after it has left our warehouse, a refund will be issued for the full value of the order excluding all shipping costs, including return shipping.

Please Note: For delivery addresses in the United States, all customs, duties, and import taxes are handled at checkout.

All of our U.S. orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).
That means we handle all customs, duties, and import taxes for you at checkout. You'll see the final price before you pay, no surprise bills or extra fees on delivery.

In-person Pickup is available from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Extended hours and holiday schedule changes are listed on our Contact Us page and Google.

Orders placed for local pickup are not eligible to be held, combined, or later shipped.

Once you are notified that your order is ready, please come to Maplelea at 619 Steven Court, Unit 6, Newmarket ON L3Y 6Z3 Canada, and ring the bell or call 905-953-8131.

Our location is our office and warehouse, so we're not a traditional retail storefront, but we do have a few dolls on display! We kindly ask that all orders be placed online in advance. If you'd like help choosing the perfect doll or outfit before you order, just give us a call at 905-953-8131 and we'd be happy to help.

Shipping Times

Please remember that during winter months delivery may take longer than estimated due to volume and inclement weather. Please order as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Estimated delivery times and costs for each shipping option are indicated at checkout.

US orders ship once per week on Wednesdays, allowing us to consolidate shipments and ensure duties are fully paid in advance.

International Shipping

EUROPE & UK

$65.00 CAD Flat Rate Option: A discounted flat rate of $65.00 CAD is available for orders to the UK and EU. Please note:

  • Delivery takes approximately 12–30 business days depending on when your order was placed
  • Orders must be received by Sunday midnight (12:00 a.m. EST) for pickup at the beginning of the following week
  • A telephone number is required at checkout to arrange final pickup or delivery of your package

International Rates: Faster shipping options are also available based on the size of your order and destination postal code. Rates will be displayed at checkout.

  • Outfits / accessories (up to 500g)  $65.00 CAD
  • Multiple outfits (500g–2kg)  $85.00 CAD
  • Doll orders (2kg–8kg)  $110.00–$115.00 CAD
  • Oversized items  $120.00 CAD

Please note that all applicable import duties, taxes, and customs charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

Refused or undeliverable shipments returned to Maplelea will be refunded for merchandise value only, original and return shipping are non-refundable. For Canadian orders, a subsidized return rate may apply. For US and international orders, actual return freight costs will be deducted from the refund, and in some cases these costs may exceed the order value. We strongly recommend double-checking your address at checkout.

Taxes

Taxes are charged according to the destination to which the order is being shipped:

  • ON, MB addresses: 13% HST
  • PEI addresses: 14% HST
  • NS, NB, NF addresses: 15% HST
  • BC addresses: 12% HST
  • SK addresses: 10% HST
  • QC addresses: 14.975% HST
  • All other Canadian addresses: 5% GST
  • International: Sometimes taxes are paid at the time of the order and those will show on your invoice. However, the more common situation is that if there are local taxes or duties to be paid, they will be charged when you receive the package.
Packaging

Our dolls come in a beautiful, keepsake presentation box suitable for gift-giving. Most accessories are shipped in an environmentally friendly paper gift box. A few large items come packaged in functional protective corrugate packaging, including: the Table, Chairs, & Kayak, or cello/plastic bags, such as Bedding and the Tent.

Payment Methods

For all orders we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, Discover Apple Pay, Google Pay and SHOP Pay. 

Store Credits and International Purchases

How does store credit work for US and international customers?

Store credit is issued in the same currency used at checkout.
Promotions advertised in Canadian dollars (CAD) are converted to the equivalent value for customers who purchase in USD or other currencies, based on the exchange rate at the time of the promotion.

For example, a $150 CAD promotional credit is issued as approximately $110 USD for customers who checked out in USD.

Store credit has no cash value and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Returns Policy

Products that have been unopened and not played with may be returned or exchanged. Refunds are issued for the purchase price of the items returned and will be processed within three business days from when they are received by our office. Shipping charges are not refunded.

When returning a product, please enclose the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Order number
  • Telephone number
  • The reason for the return
