With everyone doing so much electronically these days, why not do something different?
Why not send some fun REAL mail ("snail mail")? Getting real mail is such a fun surprise! Think of someone you know who might like a little bit of Valentines cheer show up in their mailbox--a friend, a grandparent, a cousin, or a neighbour!
So, why don't we take some time out to get creative and spread a little joy! Sit down with your family and come up with a list of friends and/or relatives who might enjoy receiving something fun in the mail.
HOW?
First, make sure you have envelopes and stamps! Then, grab some paper, construction paper and your favourite art supplies & colouring utensils (crayons, markers, glue and sparkles....whatever your heart's desire!) then let your imagination run wild and make up your own fun Valentines cards! Just make sure that your finished product will fit into your envelope - that's the most important part! We recommend a regular size piece of construction paper, folded and trimmed so that it fits inside your envelope.
Does your friend/cousin/neighbour have a Maplelea doll too? Why not send a valentine from your Maplelea doll to their doll! |
Alternatively, you can also print out these fun smaller-sized Maplelea valentine's cards and colour them in too. Just click the link and print out the file!
alexi is sending one to taryn and one to leone
I love it!!! I’ll be sure to print them off and do it with my sister. We’ll send some to our friends too!
