My Maplelea girls love their Hudson's Bay outfits

My Maplelea girls love their Hudson's Bay outfits. Fortunately they already have The Bay famous striped shopping bags ready for their next outing. (Years ago, gift cards purchased at The Bay were inserted into the perfectly sized "shopping" bags for Maplelea girls.

Trading Post Sweater outfit

Trading Post Sweater by Maplelea is really special. I own a vintage doll from 1949 that wears a this same type of knitted sweater with pretty stripes. My vintage sweater was handmade by original owner in the late 1940's. I didn't know the history of a Trading Post sweater until the history was provided by Maplelea. I thought I just had a cute little sweater with stripes. Thanks to Maplelea for a wonderful outfit and providing the history behind outfit selection.

Trading Post-Striped Sweater Outfit

Great to see some more "Canadian heritage fashions" with a representation of the Hudson's Bay Company stripes! I hope you can do more with this theme, perhaps with a traditional outdoor jacket or parka (ala Manitoba Festival du Voyageur Capote), toque, and scarf.

I love the details of all Maplelea clothing

I love the details of all Maplelea clothing. It is a especially impressive that the designs of clothing go all around the garment, unlike cheesy companies' items, where solid material is used for the back portion. The only complaint I have about Maplelea costumes is the use of miniskirts. When I dress my dolls, I prefer traditional or at least less revealing garments. Instead of miniskirts, I'd rather have trousers or midcalf-length skirts. It just looks better. In spite of the idiot-in-chief's tariffs, I'll still shop with Maplelea.
