Saila's qamutik (sled) is a smaller version of the one her family pulls behind their snowmobile when travelling to their camp in the winter. This wooden sled is true to the design of the traditional qamutiit used by the Inuit in Canada's north.
Includes a harness for use with plush dog (dogs are sold separately).
Hand crafted in Canada of Canadian aspen!

I know that the sled will be amazing BUT I didnt even look at it. Its a Christmas gift from me to myself and its already wrapped, sight unseen, under my tree. Lol. I have displays for my maplelea dolls for the holiday season at the assisted living facility where I work. The residents LOVE MAPLELEA!!
The Inuit sled is a gorgeous piece of wood. I come from a line of carpenters & wood workers and have a love for beautiful wood, so was delighted to receive the sled. Can’t wait to receive the sled dogs.
