Darling item.
These sandals are so detailed and realistic! I almost can't believe Maplelea used REAL tiny buckles (no velcro in sight!). The materials feel sturdy and like they'll hold up well over time. If you move the buckles to the loosest hole then they fit American Girl doll feet quite well. Similar to the moccasins, I find these look best on AG with the feet pushed all the way up to the front and then displayed without the sides showing, so as to hide the extra length in back.
I think these are my favorite Maplelea shoes! The quality and attention to detail are incredible and unmatched. They go with almost any outfit and enhance it! It's really clever of Maplelea to offer these small Birkenstocks. I love them and will buy at least two more pairs!
Received my order today and I am so delighted! The Metres and Miles Sandals are so detailed — stitching on the leather straps, the miniature brass buckles, and the miniature crisscross pattern on the soles of the sandals. So realistic!! I’m pairing the sandals with the Truly Canadian Set for Canada Day on July 1st! Thank you again
