Leonie loves her Maplelea footprints

Leonie loves her Maplelea footprints

Camp Maplelea on the Sunshine Coast is right beside the ocean beach. Leonie loves to go for an early morning swim, but campers are not allowed to go on their own.....so Leonie asked her counsellor "Tammy" if she would take her. Tammy was so happy and willing, so together they tip toed past all the sleeping, snoring girls in the cabin.

At 6 am the sun was shining hot and brightly. Leonie was happy for her sunglasses. She was happy for her towel to, even though she it didn't seem like it. Tammy daed her. "Who is going to be first to get all wet" Tammy won. Leonie had this thing. She loved to swim but she just didn't like to get wet, you know that first moment.... Hurray she did it, with little screams, and great encouragement from her counsellor Tammy.

What a great refreshing swim it was. The two came dripping wet to shore. Leonie thankfully wrapped up in her towel. Then she sat on it in the sun ands baked for a minute, drying off nicely.

Tammy knew she had to get Léonie going or else they would be late for camp breakfast. I'm going to get you and she started to chase Leonie. No you're not and Leonie was up in a flash and off she ran. Then she noticed she was right in the middle of all the Canada Geese foot prints. There were so many of them going this way and that. Leonie started making her own foot prints. They are so cool. I love my Maplelea sandals. I am going to make footprints all summer..... LEONIE .....Tammy was way up ahead .... Breakfast is calling.
